These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Rescue (the "app") and fliptle.com (the "site"). By creating an account or using Rescue, you agree to these Terms. Please read them before you start your free trial.
By downloading, installing, signing up for, or otherwise using Rescue, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
You must be 16 years of age or older to use Rescue. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Rescue is a self-control tool designed to help you reduce compulsive adult-content and social media use. It works through commitment, not through a technical lock on your phone — we describe exactly what that means below.
Adult-content blocking is a commitment, not a technical lock. Once you turn it on, there is no switch to turn it off inside the app — the in-app way to remove it is to complete two gates every day for 5 days — 10 arithmetic questions, then typing the numbers 1 to 50 in order — then uninstall. Rescue cannot prevent you from uninstalling the app or clearing its data directly through Android at any time — that challenge only applies if you choose Rescue's own in-app removal process instead. This is intentional: it's designed to slow down an in-the-moment decision, not to make it technically impossible.

If you add an accountability partner, you confirm that you have told them and that they are okay receiving these messages before you add their number. Rescue is not responsible for messages sent to a number you entered without that person's consent.
These features are commitment tools, designed to make undoing a decision take real effort inside the app — not technical locks that can prevent uninstalling, clearing data, or force-stopping Rescue through Android itself.
Rescue offers a 14-day free trial, free of charge. No card or payment method is required to start it, and nothing is billed automatically when it ends — the trial simply ends, and you decide whether to pay.
If you choose to continue, you pay for a fixed period of access through Razorpay:
There is no automatic renewal and no auto-debit — Rescue does not store your card details and does not charge you again on its own. When your paid period is about to run out, renew whenever you like, for as many periods as you like. If you renew before your current period ends, the new period is added to the time you have left, rather than starting over from zero. There is currently no in-app or Play Store subscription to cancel, because nothing renews automatically. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please provide accurate information when you sign up.
You agree not to misuse Rescue — including attempting to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or circumvent the app's blocking mechanisms in bad faith, or to use the service in any way that violates applicable law.
Rescue, its name, branding, and app content are owned by us. Using the app gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use it for its intended purpose — it doesn't give you any ownership rights in the app itself.
Rescue is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including uninterrupted or error-free operation. Rescue is a self-control tool intended to support behavior change — it is not a medical device and not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or addiction treatment. If you need that kind of support, please seek it from a qualified professional.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Rescue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may stop using Rescue at any time — since there is no automatic renewal, your paid access simply runs out at the end of the period you paid for.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use Rescue after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
