Rescue is an app that helps you block adult content, distracting apps and sites. It is operated by Fliptle, a sole proprietorship in India. Questions: sales@fliptle.com.
Rescue does not record or upload the pages you visit, what is on your screen, or which apps you use. The Accessibility service checks web addresses and screens on your phone against your block list and does not store or send them.
Rescue's Accessibility service has one job: blocking what you chose to block, and nothing else. It watches only web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Samsung Internet and others), Instagram and YouTube — no other app sends it anything.
What it reads.
What it does, on a match.
What stays private. Every check happens on the phone, against the block list stored on the phone. Nothing it reads — the address, the screen's structure, or anything else — is stored or sent anywhere, by Rescue or to anyone else.
What it can't do. This service (and nothing else in Rescue) cannot prevent uninstalling the app, clearing its data, or force-stopping it. Turning Accessibility off (in Android's own settings) stops this feature completely; Rescue can't protect you without it.
To run the app, keep your protection and settings, send you emails about your account, process payments, notice when protection stops, and — only if you've added a partner — send them a one-time alert if protection stops reporting before you finish removing the app.
Google (Firebase) stores the app's data. Razorpay processes payments. Resend sends our emails. Meta's WhatsApp Business service delivers the accountability-partner alert, if you've added a partner. We do not sell your data.
If you choose to add one accountability partner, we store their mobile number and your note so we can alert them — and only them — on WhatsApp if Rescue stops hearing from your phone for about 72 hours before you finish removing the app. This can also happen if your phone is off, offline, or you're signed out — not only when you're actively trying to remove it. That message includes your first name, your note, your days of protection, your exit status, and the date Rescue last heard from your phone. We send at most one alert per event, with at least 7 days between alerts to the same partner, and delivery through WhatsApp is not guaranteed.
Adding a partner requires you to confirm, in the app, that you've told them and that they're okay receiving these messages. Removing your partner, or replacing them with someone else, takes effect 72 hours after you ask — your current partner stays active until then. Your partner can reply STOP to any message at any time to stop all future messages from us — we keep a record of that opt-out (their number only, nothing that identifies you) so it is honoured even after you delete your account.
Open the app, go to Account, and tap Delete my account. Your data — including your partner's number and note, if you added one — is deleted 72 hours after you ask, and you can cancel before then. You can also email sales@fliptle.com. Razorpay may keep payment records as the law requires, and if your partner ever opted out by replying STOP, we keep that record (their number only) so they stay opted out even after your account is gone. See the Delete Account page for details.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data. Email sales@fliptle.com. Rescue is for people aged 16 and over.
Data travels over encrypted connections.
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Contact and grievances: sales@fliptle.com.
